You may have to readjust your schedule if you were planning on heading to the dump this weekend.
Because of the Easter long weekend, hours at some local landfills have changed:
– The Dungannon Landfill will be closed on Friday and Monday, but will be open during normal hours on Sunday.
– Landfills in Hastings Highlands will be closed on Friday and Sunday. However, any landfill that is normally open on Sunday will accept waste from noon to 5:00pm on Monday. Click here to see the list.
– Tudor and Cashel’s landfill will be open on Friday, but closed on Monday.
– Wollaston’s waste site will be closed on Friday, but open on Sunday.
– In North Kawartha, the Haultain and Anstruther Waste Sites will be open from 10:00am to 4:00pm on Friday and Monday. Curbside pickup will not be affected either.
