A lot of happy children, young and old, this past Saturday, as Santa was welcomed to town with a grand parade. Over thirty entries were involved with themes from the Nativity to Santa’s Workshop, to movie themes like “Frozen.” Music, candy, colourful costumes, precision marching and a lot of joy led Santa through the town to his Village House, where he met with children and their families. Word is he even met with the Mayor, but of course he cannot tell us what she may have asked for.
