Environment Canada is forecasting these types of conditions throughout the weekend. Meteorologist Etienne Gregoire says North Hastings sits in the middle of two weather systems, so it’s hard to know what’s going to happen this weekend. //www.mybancroftnow.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/04/Weather-Statement-April-1.mp3 Gregoire says there could up to 10 centimetres of snow in the area once the weekend’s over. But, it could be well over 15 centimetres closer to Algonquin Park. The weather agency says snow and ice pellets will likely affect the area on Friday and Saturday. Then on Sunday, you could be in for several hours of freezing rain. Environment Canada is still uncertain how much precipitation will fall, but says this could be a high impact storm.
