Hastings and Price Edward Public Health has its first complete full beach report of the summer.
With all 18 beaches in the region tested, the health unit says 17 of them are safe to swim at for residents. The only beach that’s been deemed unsafe for swimmers is Willington Beach in Wellington Bay.
This is the first beach report of the summer that all 18 beaches were tested, including those in North Hastings. Hastings and Prince Edward Public Health Inspector John Canaan says North Hastings Beaches will be tested once a month, while the other beaches in the area will be tested weekly.
