Bancroft OPP have released the details of two speeding charges from late last month.
In the late evening on June 29th, Officers caught a driver going 50 km/h over the speed limit on Highway 28 in Faraday Township. They charged a Burlington man with “race a motor vehicle – excessive speed.”
The next morning on Loop Road in Highlands East, another driver was caught going 50 km/h over the limit. The Marmora and Lake resident was given the same charge.
They both had their license suspended for seven days and their vehicles impounded for seven days.
Both men were released on a summons to appear in court on September 4th in Bancroft.
