Andra Kauffeldt will be one of two new future members to Bancroft Council come October.
She, however, will has an easier path than the three candidates running in Dungannon Ward. She was one of the five Councillors acclaimed to Office. She joins Wayne Wiggins, Tracy McGibbon as Councillors for Ward 1.
She was the only first-time member of Bancroft Council to be acclaimed. Though, she has served on Limerick Council for the past 8 years. She says that experience will serve her well.
There are differences between Limerick and Bancroft, Kauffeldt says, but she’s happy to meet the challenge of learning those differences head on.
She will be serving as a Councillor in Limerick right up until being sworn in as a Councillor in Bancroft in December. She says that until then she will be working everyday to make sure she’s in-tune with the Town’s issues.
Kauffeldt attended today’s Council meeting and says she will attend the Special Council meeting Wednesday as well.
