The nomination process for the seventh annual Hastings County Tourism Awards are now open.
The Tourism Awards recognize businesses, organizations and individuals who have made tourism in Hastings County great from September 2017 to August 2018. Nominations are open in the categories of:
- Champion of the Year
- Festival of the Year
- MVP (Individual) of the Year
“Hastings County used to be a hidden gem, but thanks to the tireless work of many people in the industry, it’s now on the cusp of becoming a well-known tourism destination that captures the authentic Canadian spirit,” said Hastings County Warden Rodney Cooney.
“We were stoked to see a significant increase in nominations last year, after updating the submission process making it easier for individuals to nominate the tourism players that they felt had made a difference in their communities,” Carly Freeman, the Tourism Development Coordinator said.
