That’s because the candidates for Mayor and Ward 2 will be together next week to take questions about the issues Bancroft faces this election season. Mayor Paul Jenkins and Mayoral candidate Councillor Mary Kavanagh will be there along with Valerie Miles, Bill Wellwood and George Eastman, who are the candidates running for council in Ward 2.
The even is from 7 PM to 9 at the Bancroft Pentecostal Tabernacle on 311 Hastings Street North. From 7:50 PM to 8:35, the floor will be open to the attendees to ask questions to the candidates. You can also send questions by email before the meeting to [email protected].
