The back and forth continues between former CAO Hazel Lambe and the town of Bancroft.
Lambe filed for $600,000 in damages in a wrongful and constructive dismissal suit in September. The Town filed their statement of defence earlier this month and now has Lambe has filed a reply.
In her reply, she denies she was struggling in her role as CAO. Lambe says Council agreed her workload was “excessive.” She also claims that “staff brought issues to her at their discretion and the Plaintiff (Lambe) supported staff.”
Ten performance-related issues were listed in the statement of defence, which Lambe denies.
Lambe also says that the Town failed to protect her from harassment in the workplace from members of Council.
