The Bancroft OPP are putting a call out to victims of sexual assaults that happened in the early 1980s.
56-year-old Ray Sararas of Severn Township was arrested by OPP on February 28th. He has been charged with:
- Sexual assault S.246 contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada (CC);
- Gross indecency S.157 contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada (CC); and
- Indecent assault on male S.156 contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada (CC)
OPP are asking any victims to come forward. “The victims may not be from the area,” Regamey says. “They may have travelled to the area.”

Sararas was released on a promise to appear in court on April 9th.
