Three Charged After Drug Lab Discovered in Tudor And Cashel Township

The Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau began an investigation into the drug lab in March. The lab was located at a residence on Highway 62 in Eldorado in Tudor and Cashel Township.

On Saturday morning around 10:30 AM, members of the OCEB, the OPP’s emergency repose team, the canine unit and members of the Central Hastings OPP  executed a controlled drug and substance act search warrant and arrested three males.

A 65-year-old from Hamilton, a 50-year-old from North York and a 34-year-old from Mississauga were charged with:

  • Adult Possession of a Schedule 1 Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – other Drugs, 5(2) CDSA
  • Adult Produce a Schedule 1 Substance – Methamphetamines (Crystal Meth) 7(1) CDSA

The OPP’s OCEB Clandestine lab team had to examine the residence and a vehicle because of the use of dangerous chemicals.

The investigation is on-going.

Two other search warrants were executed in Hamilton, one in North York and one in Mississauga. No arrests were made.
