The crash happened Sunday around 1:30 PM on Highway 62 south of L’Amable.
Bancroft OPP arrived at the scene and was joined by the local fire department and Hastings County Paramedics.
The OPP say that five people are injured because of the crash. One passenger was airlifted to a Kingston hospital with what the force is calling “serious injuries.”
A stretch of the highway was closed from Lower Turriff Road to Old Hastings Road all afternoon and into the evening. According to 511 Ontario on Twitter, all lanes were re-opened by 9:11 PM Sunday night.
An investigation into the cause of the crash is on-going by the Bancroft OPP with help from an OPP Technical Collision Investigator and a Collision Reconstructionist.
