An assessment centre is now open in Bancroft for people looking to get tested for COVID-19.
It will be available at the North Hastings Hospital by appointment only from Monday to Friday between 9 AM and 5 PM.
Individuals looking to get tested can make an appointment through their physician or do it themselves by calling the hotline that’s been set-up at 613-332-2825, extension 2222. The hotline is open at the same time as the assessment centre, but it’s also available on weekends.
Quinte Health Care says if your symptoms are severe and causing difficulty breathing then you should immediately go to the Hospital or call 911.
