Hydro crews wrap up weekend storm repairs

It’s a far cry from the thousands of customers without power a few days ago

After the wind storms that swept through the region last weekend, most of the area has now had its power restored. Any outage that persists is expected to be resolved by Wednesday afternoon.

Despite that, a spokesperson for Hydro One says that after major wind storms, some tree branches may still cause power outages as they have not settled properly. Regardless, they say their tools are up to date and as accurate as possible.

Hydro One says that over 532,000 customers had their power restored across the province.
