This year’s meeting of 100+ Women Who Care Bancroft Region was to boost a local charity.
The recipient of this year’s donation is North Hastings Community Cupboard, which will receive $3,600 at the moment. More donations are coming in, and those who still need to donate are asked to drop off cheques to McG’s Cakes on Main or the Century 21 offices.
Former recipients of money in years past include Bancroft Kids in Need and Maggie’s Resouce Centre. Each member pledges $100 for a charity, that is voted on by the members of Women Who Care.
