North Hastings Community Cupboard is hoping to stock its shelves next week.
The food bank has partnered with the OPP to launch a Stuff the Cruiser event on Saturday, May 21st. OPP cruisers will be parked in front of the No Frills and Foodland from 11 AM until 2 PM.
Staff at the cupboard say they have seen an increase in new clients that are having trouble affording basic things, like fuel, housing and food. They say they need the help of the community to make sure their need is met.
