Our region’s food bank is asking for help supporting people struggling to feed their furry friends.
The North Hastings Community Cupboard is in “dire need” of dog food to support its clients’ pets, according to a social media post from the organization.
Staff members say they need both wet and dry food, for all sizes and types of dogs.
If you want to donate, they say you can leave food in the various donation bins at No Frills and Foodland or drop it off at their office at 2 Madawaska Street.
You can also bring money or gift cards to donate to the organization’s office.
