Hastings County officials want healthy, vibrant, connected and sustainable communities.
Those four words represent the four pillars of the County’s new strategic plan, released last week.
The plan will guide staff members as they work to achieve goals.
It’s available from the County’s website and it unveils some statistics.

It says the County experienced a 6.8 per cent population increase from 2016 to 2021.
It also says health care and retail are the top industries, employing 14 and 13 per cent of people, respectively.
