A new musicĀ event is coming to Bancroft in the new year, to raise money for the United Way.
United Way of Hastings & Prince Edward and Tweed & Company are hostingĀ United by Music, at the Village Playhouse, on Friday, Jan. 19.
The show will be headlined by folk artist, with Bancroft roots, Abe Drennan. Janet Whiteway, of Coe Hill Girls, Appalachian Celtic and the Ā Shawashkong Ikwe Singers will also perform.
The event will also have speakers from United Way-funded agencies talking about the importance of fundraising dollars.
The show will arrive on one of the final days of the United Wayās campaign to raise $2.2 million.
