If you’re wondering how an eyebrow wax could lead to 79 pounds of food, just ask local beauty company owner Jamie Jolly.
This past December, the Jamie Jolie Beauty Company offered free eye brow waxes for those who wished to make a donation to their food bank drive.
The donations allowed the local beauty company to purchase almost 80 pounds of food. The food was delivered earlier this week to The North Hastings Community Cupboard.
The food bank hours are Tuesday to Friday 11am to 2pm, except for Thursday when they are open from 4pm-7pm.
