Hastings Highlands Library in Maynooth has released their top ten most checked out books of 2023.
The list was divided into two parts: books for adults and books for young readers.
The number one book checked out by adults in 2023 was “No Plan B” The new Jack Reacher novel by Lee Child and Andrew Child. The number one book for young readers was the Graphic Novel “Baby Sitters little Sister” by Katy Farina.
This list came out as part of the Library’s year end review. Library CEO Wendy Keating had this to say about the past year:
“It’s been a lot of fun” said Keating “We had 10, 634 Visitors this year… We checked out more than 16,000 books. We had a lot of events happening in partnership with the municipality and others.”
