Art Gallery of Bancroft hosting opening reception

An opening reception will be held on Friday at Art Gallery of Bancroft for Alex Jack’s exhibition Landscape Engaged.

The local art gallery says it’s an opportunity to meet the artist and learn about the body of work.

In describing the work, Jack said, “I’m not interested in describing the landscape as scenery, as something outside of myself, but as something I am a part of.”

The reception starts at 7:30 p.m.

Landscape Engaged is being exhibited until Jan. 31.
