Bancroft OPP responded to a call about a potential threat at North Hastings High School this morning, but determined there was no credible risk to the school.

They said they responded to the school shortly after 8 a.m. after information about a potential threat circulated on social media, and their investigation determined the threat was not backed by evidence.

Police charged one youth in relation with public mischief.
