Police arrest third man linked to break and enter in Bancroft

The Bancroft OPP has charged a third man in connection to a break and enter from earlier this month.

Police say, on the night of October 6th, an apartment on Snow Road in Bancroft was broken into, and the resident was robbed and beaten by three men.

A vehicle was later pulled over on Highway 28 in Faraday Township, and a 31-year-old Beaverton man and a 24-year-old Norwood man were arrested, while a third man escaped.

On October 18th, a 33-year-old Peterborough man was arrested by police in relation to the case.

All three now face charges including robbery and assault with a weapon, break and enter, mischief under $5,000, and possession of drugs, a firearm, and ammo.
