Bancroft OPP is investigating the theft of a vehicle on Old L’Amable Road. Police say that sometime between 11:00 p.m. on May 5th and 7:00 a.m. on May 6th, a maroon coloured Chevrolet Suburban was stolen from a home. It was later recovered on Batelle Road in the Town of Bancroft. Local OPP also received the report of a theft from a vehicle on Old L’Amable Road on the same day. A GPS and CD deck were stolen from the car. Anyone with information about these thefts is asked to call the Bancroft OPP or Crime Stoppers.
