The OPP is reminding you to be careful for flooding in the area.
This comes after the Bancroft District Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry issued a flood watch for areas around the York, Burnt and Irondale Rivers. A flood outlook statement is in effect for the rest of the Bancroft area.
The Crowe Valley Conservation Authority has also issued a flood watch for waterways in its area.
Police say this week’s rain and snow could cause water levels to rise. You are being reminded to be cautious around fast moving water, watch for changing conditions in local rivers and streams, and keep children and pets away from them.
