New board selected for social housing corporation in North Hastings

A new volunteer Board of Directors has been named for the North Hastings Non-Profit Housing Corporation in Bancroft.
The new board includes six members, including Heather Sararas taking on the role of President and Chair, and Marsha Depotier filling the role of Vice President and Co-Chair. The board will be responsible for the 57 units on Woodview Lane, the only county-run social housing in North Hastings.
The previous volunteer Board of Directors quit last May, prompting the county to declare the North Hastings Non-Profit Housing Corporation a project in difficulty.
