Province invests into local forestry roads

The province has announced it will set aside an extra $20-million this year to fund forest access roads in Eastern Ontario.

The Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry says the funding will help improve the infrastructure of these roads on Crown Land in the Bancroft Minden Forest Company’s area.

The province says this will help make these roads safer and more reliable for the forestry sector, and also those that work in it, their families, and the surrounding communities.
