Hastings Highlands residents can submit questions for council to ask our local public school board trustee.
Hastings and Prince Edward District School Board Chair and North Hastings Trustee Lucille Kyle will be at the May 17th Hastings Highlands Council meeting.
Councillor Nancy Matheson is calling on anyone who has questions about potential school closures in the area to forward them to a member of council before Wednesday. That way, they can be discussed in council.
This comes as the school board’s accommodation review process has listed Maynooth Public School as one that could possibly be closed in the future.
