Construction season is coming up on roads in the Bancroft area.
The Ministry of Transportation reports there are a number of projects coming up this summer, including replacing and repairing culverts on Highway 28 from Highway 118 to Hardwood Lake.
The OPP is asking you to be extra cautious on the road during the summer months because of these types of construction projects. You’re being asked to expect and plan accordingly for any potential delays, and stay vigilant in construction zones.
The OPP reminds you speeding fines are doubled in construction zones where workers are present.
