The Killaloe wants you to be safe on our rural roads whether that be in a car or on a bicycle.
Police say there is always a spike in riders at the beginning on summer, especially in areas around Algonquin Park.
Cyclists are also being asked to obey the rules of the road and have property safety equipment on at all times.
This comes as parts of Highway 60 have been earmarked for future bike lanes from Renfrew to Muskoka.
