The Bancroft OPP says public involvement can lead to arrests and one recent tip has led to just that.
Police say they received a call about erratic driving and responded.
Officers had to chase down the vehicle and found the driver was over the legal alcohol limit.
As a result, a 35-year-old Carlow-Mayo man is facing impaired driving and flight while pursued charges.
The man has a Bancroft court date set for the end of next month.
