The Pet Value Walk for Dog Guides raised over $2,000 in Bancroft last weekend.
Spearheaded by The Lions Foundation of Canada, participants raised pledges while others donated online or through other means.
Laverne Stapley from The Bancroft Lions Club says 10 walkers and seven dogs took part in the walk itself.
Early totals show the walk raised $2,077.
