Hastings County is looking to make early years and family services more accessible to everyone in the area.
This comes as Hastings County Children’s Services will take on managing these provincially-funded services for families and children up to six years old.
Children Services Community Planner Sheleena Forfar says the county wants to make the same core services available to everyone in the area.
Forfar says this can be done by building on services which are already available in the county.
The new integrated early years and family services model will be introduced in 2018.
