UPDATE: Search for missing teen continues in Algonquin Park

The search for a Toronto teen who went missing in Algonquin Provincial Park continues.

The 15-year-old boy is reported to have gone missing in the park at around 8:00pm yesterday, while swimming in Big Trout Lake. Killaloe OPP says the boy went under the water, and did not resurface.

Constable Catherine Yarmel says steps are being taken to find the missing boy.

Some media outlets have reported the boy is presumed to have drowned, but Yarmel says there is no word yet on the boy’s condition.
