Traffic stop in Hastings Highlands leads to a number of charges for two men

Two men are facing charges after being caught stunt driving in Hastings Highlands.

Bancroft OPP says a vehicle was clocked going more than 50 kilometres over the speed limit on Highway 62 last Wednesday afternoon. Once pulled over, police found drugs inside.

A 55-year-old Omemee man and a 53-year-old Cavan-Monaghan man both face charges of possession of drugs for the purpose of trafficking, and possession of property obtained by crime. One man also faces charges of racing and driving with open liquor.

Both will appear in Bancroft court on December 12th.
