The Bancroft OPP is reminding everyone to stay safe tomorrow night during Halloween.
Constable Philippe Regamey says a lot of kids will be excited to get free candy, but it’s important to stay with an adult when trick-or-treating. Regamey also says it’s important that your costume is safe.
The OPP also recommends only trick-or-treating at homes with lights on.
Because there will be a lot of kids on the road, Regamey says drivers can also help keep them safe.
Regamey also encourages parents to walk with their kids, instead of driving behind them. Park in a well-lit and safe spot, roll up your windows and lock your doors.
