Bancroft introduces Love Locks attraction in Millennium Park

Bancroft has a new way to show off your love.

‘Bancroft Love Locks’ was launched today, which invites you and loved-one to put a padlock on a chain on the Millennium Park walking bridge.  After that, you throw the key away.

Councillor Wayne Wiggins says these types of love locks can be found in communities around the world. They are meant to be a symbol of your love. Wiggins also says it’s another way to help the community bond.

Wiggins is encouraging everyone to add a lock to the chain.  He says he hopes to see a lot of them in the coming months.

Wiggins is also thanking the local Remax and Home Hardware for financing the project.
