Calling 2-1-1 will give you access to about community, social and health services, as well as housing, employment, and mental health agencies in our area. That is the number Police suggest when you need help, but not police, fire or ambulance services. 2-1-1 lines are operated by trained specialists 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Call 2-1-1 for:

Walk in clinics
Caregiver support programs
Mental Health Help Meals on Wheels
Emergency shelters Services for domestic violence victims
Public health
Tele-health Ontario
Crisis services Provincial and local helplines
Settlement help for newcomers
Housing help centres
Youth drop in programs
Child, youth, and family counselling
Emergency utility assistance Government services and assistance
Disability support programs
Parenting programs
