Some people never seem to learn. On Monday Central Hastings OPP got a call about a possible westbound impaired driver along Highway 7, between Madoc and Marmora. When officers found the suspect vehicle it had left the road and crashed near Tiffen Road in Marmora. The driver had already been suspended from driving, but he was now discovered to be impaired. Police have charged the driver, a 39 year-old Havelock man, with impaired driving, driving with a blood/alcohol level over 80, possession of over grams of marijuana, driving a car with open liquor available and driving while suspended. He has a court date in March.
