A small win for the nursing staff at the Community Care Access Centres around the province, their dispute with CCAC employers will go to arbitration. That was a suggestion made by the Ontario Nurses Association, who represents the CCAC staff, months ago, and was denied by the employer then. The staff wants a small wage increase equal to what other nurses in other government agencies received in their recent negotiations, 1.4 per cent in each of the next two years. Meantime the CCAC staff returned to work yesterday.
