Peterborough County OPP is investigating two reports of thefts from car dealerships. Two separate dealerships had wheels stolen from cars on their lots. In each case, vehicles were either blocked on pieces of firewood or left, without wheels, on the ground. Customers shopping at Trent Valley Honda in Peterborough on Sunday afternoon reported five Honda Civics all missing their wheels. Police were later called to the Peterborough Chrysler lot just before 7:00 p.m. when staff noticed a wheel missing from a Chrysler 200. Anyone with information about these thefts is asked to call the OPP or Crime Stoppers.
