Peterborough County OPP was called to assist at two separate fires early Thursday morning. The Fire Department received a call around 5:30 a.m. about a fire at a Hilliard Street home in Selwyn Township. Then shortly after 7:30 a.m., a second fire was reported on Carmel Line. Investigations into both fires are ongoing. however, neither fire appears suspicious at this time.
