Registration opens this week for this year’s Bancroft & Area Kids in Need Adopt-A-Child snowsuit program.
You can register on October 10th to 13th from 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM at North Hastings Children’s Services on 20 Hastings Heritage Way, then again at the same times from the 17th to the 19th. You’ll also be able to register at the Bancroft Pregnancy Care Centre on 35 Sherbourne Street from 9 AM to 3 PM on the 10th and 11th, as well as on the 16th to the 18th at the same times.
The Bancroft & Area Kids in Need Adopt-A-Child snowsuit program has been held for the past 28 years to make sure kids of low-income families are able to stay warm over the winter. The program provides winter clothes to kids of low-income families in North Hastings. Last year, over 100 kids were given winter clothing thanks to donations from individuals, businesses and organizations in North Hastings and the surrounding area.
