The Township of Madawaska Valley has opened its application for those who want to become involved in the running of their community.
The Volunteer Member of Standing Committee application is now open.  Members are being accepted for six committees: operations, water and wastewater, recreation, heritage and culture, fire and protection and development and property.  You just have to be an eligible voter in the township.
Head to madawaskavalley.ca for the application.  Forms should be given to Craig Kelley, the municipality’s chief administrative officer, by April 30.
