A Trent University student’s work with black bears in Algonquin Park has landed her on an episode of Discovery Channel’s Daily Planet.
Sarah Poole, an environmental and life sciences graduate student in Peterborough, is a member of the Algonquin Black Bear Project. The group was created in 2006 to study the impact that selective logging is having on black bears in the provincial park.
The March 3 episode shows Poole’s field work done this past winter. To check it out, visit: discovery.ca/dailyplanet.
