Hastings-Prince Edward Public Health reports nine active cases of COVID-19 remain between the two Counties.
Of the 42 total lab-confirmed cases, 28 people have gone on to recover from the virus with five deaths. The last new case to be added was on May 1st, with the first case reported on March 19th.
Public Health says there are still between five to nine cases of the virus in North Hastings.
5,783 tests have been done according to Public Health as on Tuesday morning with 5,466 coming back negative. That number accounts for 3.4-percent of the population in Hastings and Prince Edward Counties. 275 tests are still pending.
