First Hastings Highlands Countdown workshops happening in May

The first step of the new Hastings Highlands Countdown Public Art Project will be happening next month.

Workshops will happen on May 9th, 11th and 13th. Staff at Maggie’s Resource Centre, who is partnering with ReDefine Arts to build the project, says all are welcomed. They add the three workshops will be different and no art experience is required to attend. All that is needed is a stable internet connection and paper.

The art installation will be built in Combermere and will honour the victims of gender-based violence. It is the latest mosaic work done by ReDefine Arts, with other installations in Pembroke, Eganville, Killaloe, Pikwaknagan, North Bay, Carleton Place, Peterborough, Almont and Bancroft.
