A Hastings Highlands man has been charged following an investigation into a fatal collision near Madoc last fall.
The 32-year-old was charged with causing death by criminal negligence.
The two-vehicle crash happened on the evening of Oct. 28 on Hwy. 62, just north of Old Hastings Road. One of the drivers, a 23-year-old from Centre Hastings, died after being taken to the hospital.
The OPP Technical Collision Investigators team and a reconstructionist launched an investigation, which led to the arrest of the other driver on April 12.
