The sound of music will ring through Bancroft this summer.
The Mineral Capital Concerts series is back. It brings different performers to Millennium Park on Wednesday nights through July and August.
The shows start at 7 p.m. and are free to attend. Each event will feature a 50/50 draw to benefit a local charity.
Chair of the concert series, Kim Crawford, says the shows help make Bancroft a fun and welcoming summer town.
“It’s an inclusive event. Everyone’s welcome,” she says. “Families come out and we have a lot of patrons from (North Hastings Community Integration Association). It’s the highlight of their week. And it’s just a wonderful time to get together and see people you may not see during the week. Everyone gets together and has a wonderful time.”
The first show, on July 5, features The Fade Kings. The full lineup is listed on the Mineral Capital Concerts website.
